The tradition of taking senior portraits is such a fun way to help teenagers-turned-young-adults launch themselves into their adult lives. It’s a snapshot of who they are at this time in their lives so they can look back on this stage for years to come, so I always make a special effort to infuse each senior’s photos with their personality.
That was no challenge during Ellie’s senior photo session. This incredible young artist from Arkansas made every minute of her portrait session a blast!
Ellie loves both Epcot and Disney, so naturally, we combined the two for her senior photos. We took her portraits on the beautiful grounds of Epcot while Ellie was DisneyBounding as Tinkerbell. If you’re not familiar, DisneyBounding is basically a way of fusing Disney cosplay with “normal” clothes. It’s all about recreating a Disney character’s look using regular clothes so that you’re mirroring the look but in a subtle way so that no one would know from a glance that you were in character.
Ellie chose a gorgeous green dress and some beautifully glammed-up boots to DisneyBound as Tinkerbell. With her creativity and artistic sense, Ellie nailed it! We made sure to get plenty of pictures of her twirling around and truly embodying that magical Tinkerbell energy.
The beauty and variety of Epcot allowed us to create senior portraits with a variety of backgrounds and styles. We have picturesque plant life, colorfully painted murals, rock walls, the Epcot globe, and of course, a classic “Class of 2023” cap.
If you’re looking for a way to make your senior portraits special, I’m here to help. Contact The Canovas Photography today to book your senior photo session at Epcot, Disney, or any of the other beautiful locales in the Orlando area.
